Easy to Play Piano February 12, 2009

As a beginner piano player, I was delighted to learn that I could just open up the book and start playing. The songs are oldies but goodies, which made them easier to play since I knew how they were supposed to sound. I recommend this book to any beginner. It boosted my confidence tremendously.

This book comes with duet parts written to help the learner count and feel the meter. My favorite selection is "Alley Cat". The construction between the two parts is thought out very well. As a piano teacher, I can have confidence in recommending this book. By the way there is a CD that can be ordered separately. It has two tempos for each piece in the book. Enjoy!
